How it works
1. Find and Upload
Save any image from anywhere using integrated tools like our Firefox Plugin, Mac application, or browser-based uploader. Be sure to check out our Image Guidelines before you start.
2. Tag, describe and give credit
Tagging and describing your image will make it easier to find later. Credit the source of the image by entering a URL, or if it didn't come from the Web (like a personal photo), then the name of the image's creator.
3. Public or private
You can choose to make any of your images or moodboards private. If you make something public, then it becomes part of the community library. If you decide later to make it private, there's a chance someone may have already grabbed it for their own library. So if privacy is something you're worried about, mark it private up front and keep that way!
4. Create a moodboard
Creating a moodboard is simple. Just look to the dock at the bottom of the site and click on "moodboards". Now you have a couple options — you can either click "Create New" and proceed to name your moodboard, or simply drag an image from your library to the "Create New" area.
5. Working with your moodboard
Once you've created a moodboard, you can start dragging images from your library directly to your canvas. Images can be scaled, positioned and layered. Give it a name, describe it, set a cover image and decide whether you want it to be public or private. Use the URL in the address bar to share it with whomever you want.
6. Discover
The community is a great way to get inspired and discover excellent examples of design. Anything you find in the community library can be added to your own. You can even browse other people's moodboards.
